A one-fight exodus from the UFC is all Chris Camozzi had to deal with before being invited back to the Octagon as he faces Francis Carmont at UFC 137.
UFC officials announced the new bout on Monday.
Former ‘Ultimate Fighter’ competitor Chris Camozzi was released from the UFC following a a loss to former housemate Kyle Noke in February, but quickly picked up a win over Joey Villasenor in his lone fight outside the organization.
Now Camozzi gets invited back and will return at UFC 137 in October.
Facing Camozzi on the card will be French born fighter Francis Carmont, who makes his UFC debut.
Carmont has won his last five fights in a row including a victory over former UFC fighter Jason Day, and trains alongside UFC champion Georges St-Pierre.
The Carmozzi vs. Carmont fight is the latest addition to the growing UFC 137 card headed to Las Vegas on Oct 29.
