UFC featherweight Charles Oliveira takes on former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar on Saturday at UFC 162, and hopes to get back in the top ten rankings with a win.
“He’s an ex-champion. He’s a hard fighter, and I’m here to do my job,” said Oliveira during the UFC 162 open workouts on Wednesday.
“I’m coming off a loss and he’s coming off a loss. He’s the ex-champion. He fought for the title. I go to the UFC to fight the best fighters in the world,” he said. “If I beat him I go back to the top ten of the division. It’s very important for me to beat him.”
