Cain Velasquez UFC 146For most of us, it would seem intimidating for almost anyone to fight a man named Bigfoot.

But for former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez, who faces the six-foot-four, 265-pound Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva at UFC 146 on Saturday night, he’s not intimidated at all.

“The size difference is not a big deal for me. I wrestled in college and the weight limit in college is 285 (pound), so I wrestled guys that are much bigger than me,” said Velasquez, who is six-foot-one, 240 pounds. That’s not to say he doesn’t respect Silva or his abilities.

“I’ve watched a lot of his fights. He’s one of the top heavyweights in the world. He’s a tough dude.”

Check out what else Cain Velasquez had to say at Wednesday’s UFC 146 open workouts in Las Vegas…
