Cage Warriors Fight Night 9 adds three matchups to Bahrain card

Next month’s Cage Warriors Fight Night 9 event has three new bouts for its return to Bahrain.

The fights include lightweights Paul Redmond (8-3) vs. Mateusz Teodorczuk (10-2), lightweights Ryan Roddy (5-1) vs. Mario Saeed (5-1), and flyweights Shaj Haque (3-0) vs. Paul Marin (5-3).

Cage Warriors Fight Night 9 takes place Oct. 25 at Khalifa Sports City in Isa Town. The main card streams on MMAjunkie.com for North American viewers following prelims on Facebook.

Redmond is riding a five-fight winning streak with five stoppages, and all of the bouts came under the Cage Warriors banner. The Irishman looks to improve his title chances when he fights Teodorczuk, a Polish fighter and promotional newcomer who’s posted eight consecutive victories.

Roddy, meanwhile, recently made his Cage Warriors debut and suffered his first career loss, to Redmond at Cage Warriors 51. The Irishman looks to rebound against Saeed, an Englishman who makes his promotional debut while in search of his fifth consecutive victory.

Finally, Haque, an Englishman, looks to build off the momentum of recent Cage Warriors wins over Oliver Battell and Kris Edwards when he meets Marin, a Romanian who makes his third attempt at a first Cage Warriors win.

• Bruno “B.C.” Carvalho vs. Gael Grimaud
• Paul Redmond vs. Mateusz Teodorczuk
