The lineup for Cage Warriors’ debut in Scandinavia later this month is complete with the addition of a middleweight bout.
Jack Hermansson (5-2), a Swedish fighter now from Norway, will meet Enoc Solves Torres (13-6), from Spain, on the main card at Cage Warriors 66.
Cage Warriors 66 is set for March 22 at Ballerup Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark. The main card will stream live on MMAjunkie following prelims on Cage Warriors’ Facebook page.
“I’m really happy to be on this card as it means my family and friends will finally be able to see me fight live,” Hermansson stated. “I can’t wait to put on a show for the Cage Warriors fans in Scandinavia.”
Hermansson won two fights under the Cage Warriors banner in 2011 as part of a 5-0 start to his career. His return recently was announced after losing back-to-back fights for Bellator against Daniel Vizcaya and Jason Butcher. All five of his pro wins have come by stoppage, including four knockouts.
Torres will be making his promotional debut. The Spaniard has 10 of his 13 with by stoppage, split down the middle with five submissions and five knockouts. Torres has won back-to-back fights and five of his past seven. But it will have been more than a year since his most recent fight when he gets in the cage against Hermansson.
In addition, Cage Warriors has added a pair of bouts to the preliminary card as Jussi Halonen meets Frodi Vitalis Hansen and Binh Son Le takes on Shamal Tashkilot.
With the additions, the Cage Warriors 66 lineup now includes:
MAIN CARD (MMAjunkie)
