For all of her talk about wanting time off to recuperate, things have done a 180 since it was announced the promotion lost its main event at 176, a featherweight title match between Jose Aldo and Chad read news >>

LAS VEGAS – "That was harder than I remembered," Daniel Cormier said, wiping away his sweat just moments after taking off his wrestling shoes for the last time. Cormier wrestled against three-time All American Chris Pendleton at the UFC Fan Expo on Saturday. And it was a fond farewell to the sport that he excelled in through his college days at Oklahoma State and into the Olympics. After getting his hand raised with a 12-5 victory, he left his shoes on the mat. It was a gesture of goodbye."I did read news >>

It's hard to leave behind seats so close you can literally reach out and touch the fighters as they walk out of the UFC Octagon. But leave them I did, abandoning press row for the long hike up to section 205 at the very top of the Mandalay Bay Events Center. Most of the time I'm able to keep my journalist face on, especially when sitting among my peers. I admit that mine isn't as good as some others—Fox's Michael Chiappetta, for example, never seems to change expressions over the course of five read news >>

After a false start, Johnny Case is ready to begin his UFC career. Case will meet fellow lightweight Kazuki Tokudome at UFC Fight Night 52 on Sept. 20 at the Saitma Super Arena in Saitama, Japan, according to sources with knowledge of the situation.
