On Thursday former Strikeforce heavyweight Brett Rogers pleaded guilty to one count of third-degree assault following a June domestic-assault incident with his wife. As part of the plea, three other charges were dropped, and Rogers expects to avoid jail time, "The Apple Valley Patch" reports. Rogers still is slated to fight UFC veteran Eddie Sanchez next week in the headliner of Titan Fighting Championship 20.
