On Thursday Brandon Vera confirmed on Twitter that he will meet Ben Rothwell in a heavyweight bout at UFC 164.

”Good morning everyone!! I wanted to let y'all know it is conformed I am fighting Big Ben Rothwell on Aug 31st,” the tweet read.
 
When Brandon Vera first signed with the UFC it was as a heavyweighter, but after some time he dropped down to 205 pounds. Now Vera is moving back up to the heavy weight division.

UFC 164 takes place August 31 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The show’s main event is not yet known.
