Bisping: Saturday's main event in Macau will feature the 'demise of Cung Le’

UFC middleweight competitor Michael Bisping spoke with members of the media at the UFC Fight Night: Macau Media Day event, where he discussed a variety of topics including whether he enjoys competing on international fight cards.

Bloodyelbow.com's Anton Tabuena was at the UFC ‘Media Day' event in Macau, China ahead of the promotion's return to the region on Saturday night, where he had the opportunity to join the Michael Bisping media scrum.

The Briton is no stranger to international fight cards, hence his confidence ahead of the main event this week. While he admits that there are a variety of issues that could arise when one is fighting outside of his native land, as long as said fighter is not an "idiot", there should be no significant trouble making weight or finding the correct nutrition.

"I've been in international fights with the UFC throughout my whole career and that is something that I enjoy. I get to travel the world and see new markets and experience new things. Obviously, the final week it does create difficulties. Food, it costs you more money - it is a challenge.  But if you are not an idiot, the challenges can be overcome."

When asked discuss the fight on Saturday night, Bisping simply explained that the main event will bring about the "demise of Cung Le."

‘This will be the rise of Michael Bisping and the demise of Cung Le. The demise, downfall and the destruction is over. This is the rise of the man that is going to beat him."
