Little more than a month out, Dream has started to put its end of year extravaganza together, announcing the first bout for “Dynamite!! 2010.”

Dream featherweight champion Bibiano Fernandes (8-2) makes his second title defense on the card, facing Hiroyuki Takaya (14-8-1).

Fernandes is on a seven-fight winning streak. He won the belt by defeating Takaya in the final of a 16-man tournament. Fernandes certified the accomplishment with a split decision win over Joachim Hansen earlier this year at Dream 13.

Takaya, after losing a split decision to Fernandes in the final of the featherweight tournament, lost a TKO to Michihiro Omigawa at last year’s Dynamite!! 2009. He has finished both of his opponents this year by knockout; those being Joachim Hansen and former WEC champion Chase Beebe.

The Fernandes vs. Takaya rematch is the only bout Dream has announced thus far for Dyanmite!! 2010, although Gegard Mousasi told MMAJunkie.com recently that he hopes to face K-1 star Jerome LeBanner on the card.
