An average of 119,000 viewers tuned in Friday night for MTV2’s
, Sherdog.com confirmed Wednesday with an industry
The event took place at the New Orleans Convention Center and
marked the end of the Chicago-based promotion’s sixth season. The
figure serves as the third-lowest viewership turnout for Season 6
and comes just one week after the season peaked with an average of
209,000 watchers for

captured the lightweight tournament title in the Bellator 70 main
event, outpointing fellow former welterweight standout Brent
Weedman to earn a crack at Michael
Chandler’s championship on a to-be-announced date.
Heavyweight titlist Cole Konrad
also emerged victorious in the evening’s co-main event, easily
dispatching Season 5 winner Eric
Prindle in a flat 60 seconds after hitting a takedown and
locking up a fight-ending kimura.
Alberto Nogueira put forth a stellar performance in his
bantamweight tournament semifinal earlier in the evening, knocking
Nakamura with a flurry of punches in the third round. “Betao”
will now face Marcos
Galvao in Bellator’s upcoming Summer Series to decide Eduardo
Dantas’ next title challenger.

Fight fans who missed the initial airing of Bellator's debut pay-per-view now have a chance to catch it for free. An encore presentation of Bellator 120 will air on Friday, July 18 at 9:00pm ET/PT on Spike TV, promotion officials announced on Wednesday.
The replay is scheduled to debut one week before Bellator returns with its latest Summer Series event, Bellator 122.
Bellator 120 originally took place on May 17 at the Landers Center in Southaven, MS.

Dana White could soon honor the show that started it all by inducting every member of The Ultimate Fighter Season 1 cast into the UFC Hall of Fame. Yes, that would even include 0-1 Canadian fighter Jason Thacker.
