happens once more, straight after. They clinch along the fence, and
after a lull in the action, Miragliotta breaks them up again. A

Round 1
Bezerra and Evans come out with their jabs on display. Bezerra's
right eye is already swelling, and so the Brazilian shoots a
powerful double. Evans sits out, but as he tries to scramble,
Bezerra sucks him to the mat and sets up in half guard. Evans gets
butterfly guard and kicks his foe away. Bezerra dives onto him,
latching onto a guillotine, but Evans high crotches him hard onto
the mat and takes top position. Bezerra tries for an armbar, but
Evans powers out. Evans immediately finds himself in a deeper
armbar, but escapes with a heavy left-right in guard. The Brazilian
is working an active open guard, but Evans can't get past half
guard. Evans lands two more hard blows as Bezerra keeps fishing on
his back. The Brazilian turns for a leglock, trying to grapevine
Evans' right leg for a heel hook. Evans turns around and smashes

and the Alaskan flops belly down, tapping quickly. The end comes at

punches. Outside low kick and a jab land for Hollett. Hawk loads up
on a right that snaps Hollett's head back, his best offense of the
fight. Lead hook for Hawk lands, and Hollett lands another no-look
right hand. It's mostly tit-for-tat at this point, as each guy
loads up looking for a big punch. Hawk clinches with Hollett again,

them. On the break, Hawk comes right forward, walking through a
stiff Hollett right and pushing him into the fence until the

counter Hawk's lead left, but can't land it as the tall midwestern
fighter presses forward and stalls him on the cage. They break
again, and once more, Hollett grazes Hawk as he rushes him into the

Round 1
Shlemenko takes the center of the cage early, backing up Vianna
with feints before rushing forward with the fight's first flurry.
Vianna responds with a counter right hand and a knee to the body
before they disengage. The Russian rushes in again, landing a pair
of punches through the Brazilian's guard, but going to that well
for a third time sees Vianna drop Shelemenko momentarily with a
counter right. Shlemenko now easing into his usual M.O., spinning
at Vianna with alternating back fist and back kick attempts that
mostly miss the mark. For his part, Vianna is keeping too much
distance to counter effectively, except for the few moments that
the Russian moves into clinch range, where Vianna repeatedly looks
for the Thai plum and lands knees before Shlemenko diesengages.
Shlemenko rushes in one final time, landing a single right hand
through his combination as the round comes to a close.
Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Shlemenko
Freddie DeFreitas scores the round 10-9 Shlemenko
Al Quintero scores the round 10-9 Vianna
Round 2
Shlemenko coming forward again, this time behind single strikes,
including a straight right hand and left body kick. The round's
first spinning back kick attempts comes at 45 seconds in, but fails
to connect once again. Vianna paws out with a left jab that has
little hope of catching the Russian, who continues stalking at a
more measured pace than was seen in the opening round. Shlemenko
moves Vianna towards the fence, and briefly contemplates a single
leg before abandoning the attempt in favoe or more combinations.
Shlemenko now landing punches in combination, as punctuates the
pause between exchanges with left kicks to Vianna's ribs. The
Brazilian finally comes forward with a combination of his own, but
an errant Shlemenko knee goes low, causing a brief break in the
action. Vianna needs just a moment or two before the fight resumes,
and Shlemenko continues charging foward, getting a few strikes
through Vianna's defenses as the round ends.
Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Shlemenko
Freddie DeFreitas scores the round 10-9 Shlemenko
Al Quintero scores the round 10-9 Shlemenko
Round 3
Vianna opens the round with a hard low kick to the southpaw's inner
thigh, but Shlemenko is undeterred, rushing forward behind his
usual right hook, straight-left combination, following up with a
spinning back kick attempt at distance. Shlemenko switches stances
and throws the combination in reverse, with Vaanna responding with
three-punch combination of his own. Vianna ducks under a spinning
back fist attempt and scores a double-leg on Shlemenko, who quickly
regains his feet as Vianna attempts to climb onto his back,
ultimately in vain. Shlemenko lands a straight left to Vianna's
midsection, who responds with a left of his own. Shlemenko rushes
forward into a rear bodylock, pushing Vianna to the fence before
exploding with punching combination upon disengaging. "Storm"
continues coming forward now with punches to Vianna's body, who
takes a cure from Shlemenko's bag with a failed backfist attempt of
his own, which seems him shoved to the ground schoolyard-style.
Shlemenko throws his hands in the air in triumph as the fight comes
to a close, and Vianna's missed attempt at a flying knee can do
little to spoil the premature celebration as the bout comes to an
end.
Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Shlemenko (30-27 Shlemenko)
Freddie DeFreitas scores the round 10-9 Shlemenko (30-27

Round 1
Both fighters size one another up with punches, but Saunders
clinches 45 seconds in, and then turns the Brazilian onto the cage.
Hard pummeling inside. Without much offense, the pair are
separated, but Saunders clinches again quickly, and starts kneeing
Lima's left thigh diligently. Referee Yves Lavigne separates them
once more, and they resume at range. The first real hard strike is
an inside leg kick and a right cross from Lima. The Brazilian puts
Saunders on the fence afterward. Lavigne breaks them again,
however, with a minute to go. Lima catches a kick from the UFC vet,
and slams him to the mat, but he doesn't control his foe well
enough and Saunders rolls into full mount with a body triangle
around his waist. The Brazilian is trapped with 30 seconds to go,
and he must cover up to avoid Saunders' elbows until the horn.

Round 2
Both men find themselves clinched along the fence quickly in round
two, and the tepid kneeing inside lasts until a minute into the
round, when Yves Lavigne breaks them up again. Saunders throws a
lazy left, and Lima explodes over the top with a right-handed
counter. Saunders goes down in a heap, and the Brazilian dives on
him with sky-high hammerfists until he is unconscious. The end
comes at 1:21 of the second round. Sensational knockout for Douglas
Lima, the Bellator Season 5 welterweight tournament winner.
