Bellator 113 live weigh-in video and results (6 p.m. ET)

The official weigh-ins for Bellator 113 are in the books, and the main-event light heavyweights are official for their title unification fight.

Bellator MMA light heavyweight champion Attila Vegh and interim titleholder Emanuel Newton meet in Friday’s headliner, and neither had issue making the title-fight limit. Vegh came in at 204.2 pounds, while Newton was 203. Newton won the interim title while Vegh was on the shelf with a second win over Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal this past November.

The card also features the opening round of the Season 10 lightweight tournament. All but one of the eight fighters in the field made weight on their first attempts. Only Patricky Freire was off the mark, coming in at 156.1. He was given two hours for the most modest possible weight cut of just one-tenth of a pound, and he weighed 155.7 pounds on his second trip to the scale. He meets hometown favorite David Rickels in the co-feature.

Three fighters on the preliminary card missed weight and were given two hours to hit their limits. Taurean Bogguess was six-tenths over for his bantamweight fight with L.C. Davis but made weight on his second attempt. And two lightweights fighting each other also missed their marks. Bobby Cooper was 158.4, while Marcio Navarro was 157.4 for their bout. The two agreed to compete in a catchweight affair.

Thursday’s weigh-in festivities take place at Kansas Star Casino in Mulvane, Kan. The adjacent Kansas Star Arena hosts Friday’s event. The main card airs on Spike TV following prelims on Spike.com.
