Behind-the-scenes video of Jon Jones' UFC 159 win over Chael Sonnen
Jon Jones was back in the building where he became the youngest champion in UFC history, and he came away with yet another dominant performance.
As a favorite of as much as 11-to-1, Jones (18-1 MMA, 12-1 UFC) made quick and easy work of challenger Chael Sonnen (27-13-1 MMA, 6-6 UFC) with a first-round TKO victory at this past Saturday’s UFC 159 pay-per-view.
Sonnen was moving up from middleweight for the first time in years and got the title shot after coaching opposite Jones on Season 17 of “The Ultimate Fighter.” But Sonnen couldn’t replicate the five and a half rounds of success he had in two middleweight title losses to Anderson Silva against Jones, who took him down 10 seconds into the fight.
Once again, the UFC went behind the scenes of the card, including a fan tailgate party, which took place at Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.
