With Claudia Gadelha out of Invicta FC 4 due to injury the promotion has decided to place Bec Hyatt in the title fight main event against Carla Esparza.

Sources close to the promotion confirmed the new bout to MMAWeekly.com on Friday.

Bec Hyatt was already scheduled to compete on the Invicta FC 4 card against Joanne Calderwood, but now bumps up to the main event.

A winner of four fights in a row, Hyatt steps into the title fight to take on Esparza with a chance to claim the first ever Invicta 115lb title.

With Hyatt out of her originally scheduled fight, Joanne Calderwood now faces Livia Van Plettenber, who has recently been working under the tutelage of former UFC middleweigiht contender Matt Lindland.

Invicta FC 4 goes down on Jan 5 at Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas and will air on internet pay-per-view.
