All of the fighters were on weight Friday evening, ahead of BRACE 23 from the Townsville Entertainment and Convention Centre in Australia on Saturday, Oct. 26.
Integrated MMA’s Gokhan Turkyilmaz (9-9) will return to the cage in Australia after a brief stint fighting in Asia with two wins in his last three fights. He weighed in slightly heavier than his opponent, Kevin Manderson (16-13), for their main event fight at lightweight.
Manderson, of Montreal, snapped a four-fight losing streak when he submitted Jon Leven in Canberra in December of 2012 and will be looking to keep the momentum rolling in his first cage outing for the year.
In the co-main event, El Salvador’s Edwin Arana takes on Brit Zack Hook, while Luke Hume will face off against Jamie Mullarkey in another featured bout with Hume looking for his second straight victory.
Former UFC fighter Benny Alloway was supposed to headline the show, but was ruled out for the year with an injury, meaning his scheduled fight with Rick Alchin was scrapped.
The show will be streamed live on Epicentre.TV for $14.95 from 7.30pm AEST. For a full list of timings click here.
