Anthony Njokuani

A lightweight bout is in the works for the upcoming UFC 138 card that will see Anthony Njokuani take on British striker Paul Taylor.

Sources close to the match-up confirmed the new bout to MMAWeekly.com on Wednesday. MMAJunkie.com initially reported the fight.

Anthony Njokuani comes into UFC 138 off a stunning performance over former ‘Ultimate Fighter’ finalist Andre Winner. Njokuani battered his opponent at every turn and won a lopsided decision after three rounds.

The knockout artist will look to add another KO to his record when he fights in England.

Paul Taylor returns after an injury sidelined him from competing in the August UFC on Versus 5 card, but he’ll be ready to go in his home country of England in November.

Following a loss in his debut fight at 155lbs, Taylor knocked out former ‘Ultimate Fighter’ competitor Gabe Ruediger with a head kick in his last bout.

Njokuani and Taylor meet in a match-up most will dub ‘Fight of the Night’ before the event even begins.
