Film roles for MMA fighters seem to be coming down the pipe more often than ever these days, and now you can add Anderson Silva and Lyoto Machida to the mix as well.

Both Silva and Machida have tipped tried out acting in movies before, but they recently filmed scenes for the new film “Tapped” set to be released in 2013.

The film circles around a young man who enters an MMA tournament with hopes of getting revenge on the man who killed his parents.

Silva and Machida star in the film alongside veteran actor Michael Biehn, who has been in movies such at “The Terminator” and “Aliens” as well as Martin Kove, who starred in the first three Karate Kid movies.

The movie is currently in post production with the photos below from Silva and Machida having been filmed at Xtreme Couture in Toronto.

Chris Weidman knocked Anderson Silva out at UFC 162. He stopped him again in their rematch at UFC 168 after Silva snapped his leg on a checked kick. Even after doing all of that, some people still feel the newly crowned champ lacks the sort of credibility his predecessor had.
