For some time, Joseph Benavidez was carrying the
worst kept secret in the MMA business: He really is a flyweight.
"I just settled in knowing that I'd have to do what I had to do at 135
(pounds), and I was fine with that," Benavidez told MMAjunkie.com Radio of life before the long-awaited announcement
of a new flyweight class in the UFC.
As you'd expect, he's just as excited as anyone that he gets to compete at a class to which he's better suited.
