The figure marks a slight decrease from Challengers 15, which netted 214,000 viewers on April 1. The series high was set in March 2010 with Challengers 7, which earned 316,000 viewers during a free preview weekend for Showtime.
Headlined by a lightweight clash between Caros Fodor (pictured) and James Terry, the event emanated from the ShoWare Center in Kent, Wash. Fodor outworked Terry throughout the three-round affair, pressing the action and taking home a unanimous nod for his efforts.
Also featured was a highly competitive 155-pound affair between Ryan Couture and Matt Ricehouse, who kept his undefeated record alive by outpointing Couture on all three judges' scorecards. Light heavyweight Lorenz Larkin weathered an early storm from opponent Gian Villante before turning up the heat in the final two rounds, consistently beating Villante to the punch and walking away with a unanimous verdict.
Rounding out the decision-heavy main draw, Jason High outwrestled Quinn Mulhern from start to finish in their welterweight scrap, while Julia Budd's takedowns proved sufficient to sway the judges and award her a victory over fellow kickboxer Germaine de Randamie.
