For our annual awards, MMAWeekly.com turns to you the readers and fans to choose the best of the best for 2012 including the best knockout from the past year.

There were a lot of great choices, although we are sticking to MMA because Juan Manuel Marquez would probably steal the award with his knockout of Manny Pacquiao in boxing.

Still there are a ton of great choices to choose from in the world of mixed martial arts.

Who can forget Edson Barboza’s spinning wheel kick knockout of Terry Etim?

Or how about Anthony Pettis landing a thunder head kick to put away Joe Lauzon?

There was Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson’s debut in the UFC when his foot landed flush on the face of opponent Dan Stittgen.

Cung Le did his part to enter the race when he face planted Rich Franklin at UFC on Fuel in China.

How about Matt Brown putting away Mike Swick at UFC on Fox 5?

But we leave this choice up to you, the MMAWeekly.com readers and fans. Leave your choice for the best knockout of 2012 below in the comment section and the fight with the most votes will be awarded with the “Knockout of the Year.”
