I am a Shogun fan. what I see here, is that Shogun is tapping out.. he couldnt handle Jon Jones Muay Thai and wrestling.. He was a better fighter.. I didnt admit it until this fight.. Jon Jones just raped my biggest idol.. Mauricio Shogun Rua..

But I will forever like Shogun for not giving up earlier.. He got TONS of beating. Shogun hitted like 6 hits on Jon Jones while Jon Jones hitting him for 87 hits..

I Felt sorry for Shogun.. But respect that he didnt TAP out earliere in the fight..

And we all know Shogun is a really tough guy. He had already managed to amazingly get up when he was already badly hurt before this happened. There's nothing glorious about never tapping, it just means you're more likely to have your career shortened and your quality of life permanently affected.

he wasn't going to tap , that's just instinctive when you get hurt really bad , that happened to me once at 185 lbs when I was pounded bad ... I just tapped the floor like a sign of frustration because I didn't knew how to defend myself from that position . So pls stop talking about shogun tapping and giving up... that's not a real tap... that guy would probably choose to die in the octogon than choosing to give up...pls RESPECT SHOGUN!

Shogun has the heart of a warrior. To even make him consider tapping is a complete compliment to the fighter. I gotta give it up for Bones a little bit.
