Dang, condits striking looked very solid in this fight, and an impressive knockout against a guy like The Outlaw. Look forward to seeing Carlos in future fights, and Hardy has a great future in the UFC.

It seems as if Hardys left hook was more of a stockton slap but that could be because he saw Condits coming and maybe he was abandoning his own

condit was hit first. he ate the punch but hardy couldnt take the heat.

The reason Condits left hook landed and Hardy's did not, is because Condit broke to the left when throwing the 2. They both threw the same punch sequence, but Hardy's head stayed right in the middle and he did not break when throwing the 2.

look closely in the different angles by hardy , when hardy threw the punch it landed right under his jaw and it was not a fully connected fist. It looked like only his index knuckle or maybe his finger landed more. now condits punch all 4 knuckles landed

I agree with kurt and the guy below me, now dont flame me for bringing in Boxing but Boxing does teach you the 100% correct way to swing. Now they were both throwing a left hook after a missed right straight, now when you throw a left hook in boxing , you have to throw it more correctly because they are 12-14 ounce gloves compared to MMA ones. So in boxing to deliver a knockout left hook, you have to bend your right knee half way down and tild your body/head to the right side as your ankle (your toes) should be facing yout left foot. Almost like a little twist and when your moving your mid section with your ankle that transfers your weight. Now when you slowly move back , you dont move your arms to deliver the punch, you have to move your right leg that is bent (which your toes should be facing your left foot with the bottom of your foot off the ground) and then you move your mid section along with it so it moves your arms with it. Now this is the difference between Normal Citizens and Human Fighting machines. Normal citizens will most likely to close there eyes in a situation like this because there not trained to but us as fighters we can actually keep calm and think and look whats infront of us. Thats how we are mentally stronger, anyway the moment u move all 3 parts, and when your about to have a full swing thats when you snap your punch and land your right foot on the ground to make a lil thud noise. Basicly right there you dont see Hardy doing that, you just see Hardy moving his arms and his head is still in the middle where his head should be tilted like condits. Condit didnt do a full rotation of the body but he still delivered some of his weight plus the power at the end of that punch

Hardy didn't hit Condit with the knuckles, he didn't turn his hand like you're supposed to, he hit him with the outside of the thumb

Condit is the most legit contender to GSP i think i've ever seen.he doesn't mind being on the mat he has submissions and he is a better striker than GSP. i hope that matchup happens
