@ Proud. Faber needs to get the fight to the ground and submit Cruz. The biggest skill advantage he has over Cruz is his BJJ, Faber has tapped out Black Belts before in MMA matches. I can see Faber catching Cruz's neck during one of his takedown attempts and sink in a Guillotine. If Faber can defend Cruz's takedown attempts and score some of his own, he'll have a much better chance of winning. But no matter how much Faber says he's improved in his striking, Cruz will always have the advantage there. He's got the reach, amazing footwork and head movement, and he's a much more technical boxer. Cruz may not be a knockout artist, but he's dropped a lotta guys with the lead left hook and with the straight right, and his takedown defense is great. Faber vs. Cruz III will be a great fight, but I'm going with Cruz by Unanimous Decision again.

Tough Kid, but not enough to withstand the California Kid. Urijah is one of the best fighters in the world who isn't a champion. Cruz was better at point scoring last time, but I think most people think Fabre is the better fighter. Credit to Cruz for being so tricky. Urijah realizes he needs to try to win the fight with a stoppage, otherwise he'll probably lose on points again.

If it were a pure vale tudo fight, I think Faber would have a better chance, but that would be a bit barbaric. Then again, if Cruz improves, maybe he can actually hurt Faber before Faber hurts him.
