with his much improved standup/striking he showed against nyguira he showed that he can knock out a veteran and one of the greatest fighters in the sport who has never been knocked out before, look for him to destroy brock lesnar in the upcoming title fight. if you don't remember last time he fought lesnar he made lesnar tapout .... that was before mir could box like a champ .... I don't agree with you. Nogueira is a good boxer but not a dangerous one and he has a very bad habit : getting punished at every fight before starting to fight back so it's easy to put him in danger.
Frank Mir is overrated because everyone talks about his BJJ black belt but look at the guy he has submitted....
Roberto Traven and Pete Williams were at the end of there career, he couldn't do anything against Wes Sims who came from Team Hammer House so no doubt he suck in submission, he subbed Anthony hardonk who is not a very good guy on the ground and against Nogueira he didn't want to go on the gound so ok he is a BJJ Black belt but he has not prove anything at all. Brock is not gonna follow Mir and takes shot like Nogueira did, he's gonna answer and punish Frank.
No disrespect to Mir because every fighter deserve credit to have the balls to be in the octagon, but there are too many noises from Mir for nothing.

Lesnar definitely has a strength and wrestling advantage. Lesnar's fight with Couture was 8 months before his next fight agains Mir. If you were Lesnar what would have you worked on for those 8 months? Submission defense of course. Mir knocked a weakened and sick Nogueira who had a staff infection and was hospitalized for a week just 15 days before the fight. Nogueira himself said that his condition definitely had an outcome on the fight. Even Cro Cop and Fedor couldn't knock out Nogueira, what makes you think that Mir could have pulled that off so easily? Lesnar by Donkey-Kong T-off in the 3rd.

The fight between Lesnar and Mir, was Lesnars FIRST mma fight ever...and Mir caught him, luckily, in and ankle lock. You forget that Mir was getting his head smashed in before that. When Lesnar fought Cotoure, he manhandled him the entire fight, there was only one time that Cotoure almost had him on the ground and Cotoure takes down EVERYBODY!! THe improved Mir will be fighting and improved Lesnar, and in my book, the later of the two is FAR more intimidating. Was it just me or did anyone else notice the resemblance between Frank Mir and SpongeBob's dad after the second Lesnar fight?

I dont think anybody can trash talk MIr, his fights are not very impressive nor is his career. But he is a good fighter I guarantee that almost nobody would be able to handle Lesnars size and power on top of them most def. with an isolated arm. He's 30 now and supposedly fighting congo? Give him a chance to make a name for himself before down grading him. He dont choose his fights.

Frank Mir is probably one of my favourite heavy weight fighters. His striking is great, but his submissions are even better. im sick of watching blood bath fights, with no technique put into it.
I would love to see Frank Mir vs Fedor. all though, the outcome is probably obvious.

Wow this guy said he wanted to break Lesnar's neck the next fight. I seriously dislike this fighter...overrated doesn't even begin to sum it up. Roy Nelson out grappled him.

It's too bad that a few fighters have to let their mouths go, rather than their fists, just the other week Mac Danzig an Irish MMA fighter, said that he wished Dan Hardy would die of AIDS, like wtf...You have to realize that as a fighter in a growing sport, people will take notice of what you say, and this isn't like the WWE, where its based in fiction with a story line, everything you say is taken seriously. I like Mir outside of the ring with his commentary in the WEC, so it really surprised me that such a seemingly intelligent individual would let anger get the better of him. Especially when in martial arts, or any sport for that matter, anger can actually be a detriment and lead to your downfall.

Frank Mir's Striking has increased dramatically, I would Dana White to have Lesnar or Carwin stand up with Mir, they dont Stand A chance, The only Heavyweight with Better Stand Up in the UFC than Mir is Junior Dos Santos, Mir has to get stronger if he wouldnt have gotten injured in the \motor Cycle he would be 15-3 not 13-5

I love Mir, he is my favorite plus he is HOT ahah, he gets better and better, overcoming the accident he had is pretty amazing, ppl that dotn like him actually took the time to come here and yap negative stuff about him? really?
